How To Align With Spring’s Natural Energy

Spring is finally here and you may find yourself looking for ways to fully enjoy the season and the new energy it brings. Harnessing the energy of the season and planning activities with it in mind can help you fully enjoy what spring has to offer.

To me spring means new life, new beginnings, and growth. It’s the time of year we return to our gardens and plant new seeds. We can also use the fresh energy of spring to plant metaphorical seeds of growth and opportunity in our lives. It’s a good time of year to start new projects, perhaps change career paths, and maybe form new relationships. Take a hard look at your life and the areas you think you have room to grow and start planting new seeds! This can mean applying to a job or maybe you want to increase your social circle so you decide to sign up for a class or activity as a way to meet new people. Plant those seeds and then of course nourish them, give them the water and sunlight they need to grow. Just like growing plants, changes in our lives require time and patience to reach their full potential, don’t expect things to happen overnight.

Since Ostara (the Spring Equinox) I’ve done a lot of reflecting on what areas of my life are ready for a fresh start. I realized that my current job wasn’t a good fit for me and it was time to explore other options. I also discovered that I needed to explore my creative energy through blogging and here we are. So, I planted some initial seeds, applied to some new jobs, wrote a few blog posts and now I am going to see what comes of my seeds and nourish them until they become beautiful new flowers in my life.
